- Are there any jellyfishes?
- Jellyfishes will gather near the coast depending,
on the flow of the current,
and change of temperature.
We will give alert through the monitoring station.
Please be very careful.
- What should we bring to enjoy the beach?
- Swim wears, flipflops, towels and etc.
you can buy all of them in beach houses,
so you can enjoy the beach without bringing anything with you.
- Are there any car park spaces?
- There are some toll car park spaces near our beach.
- What hours can I swim?
- You can swim from 10:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m. At other times, swimming is banned since there are no lifeguards. We sometimes ban swimming even in the time you can swim, depending on the conditions of the weather and the tide. Please enjoy swimming safely.
- Can I surf?
- The swimming hours are restricted to the "softboard area," where soft surfboards, soft nipper boards, and fin-equipped bodyboards are allowed. The use of a leash cord is mandatory for all these boards.
Surfing is permitted in all areas until 9 AM and from 5 PM onwards.
Starting from 2023, visitors are now allowed to move within the bathing area with surfboards at any time.
- Can I play bodyboarding?
- You can enjoy bodyboarding at any time, even in swimming time: from 10:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m. If you don't have your own bodyboard, some beach houses rent bodyboards. Why don't you try bodyboarding? Body board that fin is attached is not possible to use it in the swimming time.
- Are there high waves?
- The sea is considerably moderate, but it depends on the weather. Please check the conditions beforehand.

- Almost most beach houses have restrooms. In addition, there are two public toilets near the entrance of the Nameri River and around the center of our beach. Toilet paper is prepared in almost all restrooms, but it might be better to bring pocket tissue with you just in case.

- Yes, almost most shops and beach houses sell it.
- Is the beach crowded?
- Many people always enjoy at our beach, but there are not so many at weekdays. Even on holidays, before 11:00 a.m, not so crowded.
- Can I rent beach umbrellas?
- Almost most beach houses rent them. The price is the same at all beach houses, ¥1,500 for beach umbrellas and ¥1,500 for beach bed per day.
- Where should I keep my wallet?
- Almost most beach houses are equipped with lockers. The price is the same at all beach houses, ¥1,800〜 for locker, including the use of shower spaces and dressing rooms per person, per day. If you want to use only shower spaces, the price is ¥800.

- Yes, you can. Many people walk around with their pets. However, walking around with pets from 10:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m is banned by the beach establishment ordinance, while you can walk around at other times, in the early morning or the evening.
You can enter almost most beach houses with your pets.
- What is the opening time of beach house?
- We are open until 20:30.
You can not enter this store after 20:30.
- Can I swim with tatoos on my body?
- Please wear clothes if you have scary tattoos, when entering the beach and shops.
- Can I smoke?
- You can smoke only in smoking space or beach houses. Please keep good manners.
- Can I have a meal?
- Yes! Each beach houses serve various types of meals. Please enjoy eating, too!
- Can I drink liquor in a sandy beach?
- Drinking any place other than a beach houce is forbidden in the regulations of Kamakura-City.
